UGCP Forum 2026 is an international expert and diplomatic platform aimed at developing substantive dialogue between Ukraine and the states of the Middle East and North Africa. The forum is intended to examine the prospects for interregional cooperation amid a changing international order, growing interdependence among states, and the search for practical approaches to shared challenges.

Oleh Zaiarnyi will speak on the SECURITY panel, which will run from 10:15 to 12:15. Key topics of the discussion include Russia’s war against Ukraine and its international consequences, regional stability, defense diplomacy, countering hybrid threats, and energy and food security.

Oleh Zaiarnyi’s expert perspective will add legal and analytical dimensions to the discussion, in particular regarding international security processes and the challenges related to protecting the information space. The dialogue is expected to involve Ukrainian diplomats, representatives of the diplomatic corps of foreign states, and international experts.

The UGCP Forum 2026 program covers three thematic areas: security, culture, and economy. The cultural panel will focus on public and cultural diplomacy, educational exchanges, and humanitarian partnership. The economic panel will address the prospects for trade, investment, the participation of the region’s states in Ukraine’s reconstruction, energy cooperation, and technological development.

Registration is required. Information on registration and organizational matters can be obtained from UGCP Founder and Director Aurika Matvei.

Organizer: Ukrainian-Gulf Cooperation Platform (UGCP) — a platform that develops cooperation between Ukraine and the Arab Gulf states and the wider Middle East and North Africa region through expert dialogue and diplomatic, educational, and interregional initiatives.
