The Pylyp Orlyk Foundation team held a working online meeting with representatives of the School Council of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (Ukrainian Educational Council USA) — one of the key institutions of Ukrainian education in the United States, which coordinates cooperation among Ukrainian schools and for more than 70 years has supported the development of Ukrainian schooling in America.

On July 8–10, 2026, Lviv will host the first Conference on Ukrainian Studies “Ukraine in the World” — an international academic forum aimed at bringing together researchers, educators, representatives of state and cultural institutions from Ukraine and around the world. The Pylyp Orlyk Foundation will be represented at the conference by Natalia Omelchuk, coordinator of educational programs.

On July 10–12, 2026, Lviv will host the second module of the Summer School within the mentoring program “Roots and Wings: A History That Unites,” implemented by the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation for teachers of history and humanities disciplines at Ukrainian schools.

Every country that consistently supports Ukraine is a target for Russian information operations. The Czech Republic is no exception. Russia uses low-quality information sites and mass social media commentary to shift public opinion and minimize support for Ukraine, deepen internal social divisions, and fuel euroscepticism. The Kremlin acts not as a sprinter but as a marathon runner. It does not expect an instant effect — the bet is placed on the repeated dissemination of the desired talking points, their spread, and the slow erosion of trust in mainstream media and moderate politicians.

On July 4, the United States marks Independence Day — 250 years since the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. This anniversary brings together the shared history of freedom and democracy. After all, the history of the United States is the history of people who arrived on the American continent from many countries in search of freedom, safety, opportunity, and the right to realize their talent.

Ukrainian-Polish relations have increasingly become a focus of political debate in recent times. The cause lies in historical issues, including the Volyn tragedy, the exhumation of victims, and assessments of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army and certain historical figures. Against this backdrop, Polish politicians have made statements about the prospects for Ukraine’s European integration. On June 29, 2026, the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in Prague hosted the international conference “Current Security Threats VI,” dedicated to key challenges to European security, countering Russian imperialism, and supporting Ukraine. This was already the sixth such conference, held under the patronage of Pavel Žáček, a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament and chairman of the Czech-Ukraine Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group.
