Forum “Ukraine as a Task” in Prague: Volunteers Raised 2.5 Million Crowns for the Ukrainian Military

The “Ukraine as a Task” forum in Prague has gathered speakers who discuss Ukraine without repetition for the third consecutive year — none of the participants from previous events has spoken twice. This year’s discussion took place at the Havel Library with the participation of Czech Volunteer Hub co-founder Kateřina Krečová and Senator David Smolák. The forum’s organizer Rostyslav Prokopyuk moderated the event.

NAAU Committee Meeting in Kyiv: Pylyp Orlyk Foundation’s Bill on AI in Justice and the use of foreign case law in Ukraine

On April 10, 2026, a joint session of the Committee on Legislative Initiatives in the Field of Advocacy and the Committee on Digitalization of Advocacy of the National Bar Association of Ukraine (NBAU) was held. The session reviewed a draft law prepared by Pylyp Orlyk Foundation specialists on the introduction of artificial intelligence systems into the justice process and the application of foreign judicial practice in Ukrainian courts. Foundation representatives took part in the meeting.

On March 24, 2026, the building of the National Museum-Memorial “Lonsky Prison” was damaged following a Russian drone strike. The blast shattered windows on all floors, including the basement, and caused damage to the roof.

316 Years of Pylyp Orlyk’s Constitution: Why It Remains Relevant

On April 5, 1710, the city of Bender saw the adoption of the “Pacts and Constitutions of Rights and Freedoms of the Zaporizhian Host” — a document known today as Pylyp Orlyk’s Constitution. This year marks 316 years since its adoption. It is considered one of the first European constitutions to articulate limited government,  human rights, and financial transparency.

Ukraine’s Ambassador to Czech Republic Backs Pylyp Orlyk Foundation’s “Koreni ta Kryla” Programme

A meeting between the team of the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation and Ukraine’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Vasyl Zvarych, took place at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic. The gathering focused on the development of the mentorship programme “Koreni ta Kryla: A History That Unites” (Roots and Wings). The Foundation was represented by Natalia Omelchuk, coordinator of educational projects and author of the programme, and Svitlana Kvitnitska, project manager. Andrii Korol, First Secretary for Humanitarian Cooperation at the Embassy, also took part in the meeting.

Pavlo Levchuk: “The Question of Language Is a Question of State Policy”

In 2025, Poland published a curriculum for teaching Ukrainian as a second foreign language to students in grades 7–8 of Polish general secondary schools and lyceums. The author of this programme is Ukrainian Pavlo Levchuk — a linguist, Polonist, Slavicist, associate professor at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and researcher of Ukrainian-Polish linguistic and cultural ties. The lyceum programme was developed with the support of the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation. This conversation with Pavlo Levchuk is about Ukrainians in Poland, Ukrainian in the Polish education system, and strategic victories for the language.

The event brought together diplomats, analysts, researchers, and students to discuss how Ukraine should develop its own expertise on Russia — beyond outdated approaches and the limitations of traditional Russian studies.
