On January 29, 2026, the personal exhibition “Energie dobra / Energy of Goodness” by Ukrainian artist and Director of the Ukrainian Institute in Prague, Rostyslav Prokopіuk, concluded at the “Western Terrace of Bratislava Castle” gallery. This is the second exhibition by a Ukrainian artist in the history of this prestigious historical gallery in the Slovak capital (after Ivan Marchuk).

At the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation space, an exhibition “Breads” by Honoured Artist of Ukraine Oleksii Potapenko continues — a series of profound and moving canvases where bread becomes a powerful symbol of life, memory, labour and the indestructible connection with Ukrainian land.

Today, December 22, we celebrate Ukrainian Diplomacy Day — the day when we honour those who for centuries built and defended Ukrainian statehood on the international arena.

On December 4, 2025, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted Resolution No. 4712-IX “On Approval of the Regulations on Prizes and Scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine” (registration No. 14180). This document officially approved a new system of parliamentary awards, among which a special place is held by the Prize of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine named after Pylyp Orlyk — a prize for youth contribution to the development of parliamentarism and local self-government.
