Mentorship Programme ‘Roots and Wings’ Launches in Denmark with Support of the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation
Today in Denmark, the mentorship programme “Roots and Wings” begins, implemented with the support of the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation. The programme is aimed at supporting Ukrainian teachers abroad and preserving historical memory, national identity and cultural connection with Ukraine among children of the Ukrainian diaspora.

As part of the programme launch, Foundation project manager Svitlana Kvitnitska and educational programmes coordinator Natalia Omelchuk have already met with programme participants — Ukrainian teachers united by love for Ukraine and a deep desire to pass on knowledge and values to the next generation.
“Roots and Wings” combines modern educational approaches with work on history and cultural heritage. The programme creates an environment of professional support for teachers and provides them with tools for working with children living abroad.
The Pylyp Orlyk Foundation consistently supports Ukrainian educational initiatives abroad, building a network of environments in which Ukrainian history, culture and shared memory remain alive and are passed on to future generations.
