A meeting between the team of the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation and Ukraine’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Vasyl Zvarych, took place at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic. The gathering focused on the development of the mentorship programme “Koreni ta Kryla: A History That Unites” (Roots and Wings). The Foundation was represented by Natalia Omelchuk, coordinator of educational projects and author of the programme, and Svitlana Kvitnitska, project manager. Andrii Korol, First Secretary for Humanitarian Cooperation at the Embassy, also took part in the meeting.

The first working meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation took place in Kyiv following the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the two organizations.

In 2025, Poland published a curriculum for teaching Ukrainian as a second foreign language to students in grades 7–8 of Polish general secondary schools and lyceums. The author of this programme is Ukrainian Pavlo Levchuk — a linguist, Polonist, Slavicist, associate professor at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and researcher of Ukrainian-Polish linguistic and cultural ties. The lyceum programme was developed with the support of the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation. This conversation with Pavlo Levchuk is about Ukrainians in Poland, Ukrainian in the Polish education system, and strategic victories for the language.

From March 20–22, the fourth meeting of the annual mentorship programme “Roots and Wings: History That Unites” was held in Prague.

On March 19, the Ukrainian Institute in Prague hosted a lecture by ethnologist Yaroslava Muzychenko titled \u201cEaster in Ukrainian Culture,\u201d co-organized with the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation.

Over three days, participants will work on themes of Ukrainian identity and culture through lectures, interactive activities and practical sessions. The meeting will combine discussions and small-group work so participants can apply the materials in their own teaching practice.

In Kyiv, a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the public organisation “Pylyp Orlyk Foundation” has been signed.
