The photographs and materials presented at the exhibition document the consequences of Russian attacks on Ukrainian religious buildings. They reveal the scale of destruction of Ukraine’s cultural and spiritual heritage while also recording its history for future restoration.
The exhibition was prepared by the National Reserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” in cooperation with the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity. Partners: the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation, the National Museum of History of Moldova; with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Moldova.
Until September 26, 2026, residents and visitors of Chișinău can visit the exhibition and see documentary evidence of Russian aggression against Ukraine and the destruction of Ukraine’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
This exhibition was first presented in Moldova on August 24 this year, on Ukraine’s Independence Day, in the Parliament of the Republic.
For the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation, this exhibition became one of the first joint projects with the National Reserve «Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra». In early August 2026, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation, which provides for the joint implementation of events and projects dedicated to Ukrainian history and culture.
