Participation in international events of this scale is an important part of the Foundation’s work — building partnerships, expanding international cooperation, and promoting Ukrainian educational, cultural, and social initiatives across Europe.

Presenting the Foundation and the “Roots and Wings” Project

During the forum, the Foundation’s representatives presented the organization’s activities, introduced participants to completed and ongoing initiatives, and spoke about one of the key educational projects — “Roots and Wings: A History That Unites”, including the mentorship programme for Ukrainian history teachers “Memories in Boxes.” The project helps people engage with history through personal stories, memory, generational experience, and individual responsibility for preserving national identity.

Special attention during the Vienna visit was given to building new international contacts, identifying partners, philanthropists, and collaboration opportunities for the further development of the Foundation’s educational, cultural, and socially significant projects.

Exhibition “Faces of the Ukrainian Dream” in Vienna

Another significant event during those days was the opening on May 8 in Vienna of the “Faces of the Ukrainian Dream” exhibition, organised by the civic organisation “All-Ukrainian Union ‘Patriot’.” The exhibition was opened by representative and volunteer Oleksandr Bilotil.

The exhibition featured works by children from Ukraine and various parts of the world — drawings and stories in which hope, pain, strength, and faith in the future are intertwined. For the Foundation, it is deeply meaningful to be part of an international environment where, alongside questions of development and cooperation, the voices of Ukrainian children and attention to Ukraine’s future are heard.

We believe that strong international connections, socially responsible business, and cross-sector cooperation create new opportunities to support education, culture, historical memory, and the children who are shaping Ukraine’s future today.
