Ukraine’s Voice to Sound at Bratislava Castle: An Artistic Gesture of Gratitude for Support of Ukraine
An exhibition by a Ukrainian artist at Bratislava Castle — as a gesture of gratitude for support of Ukraine

Rostyslav Prokopіuk is the second Ukrainian (after Ivan Marchuk) to be honoured to present his works at this outstanding gallery in the Slovak capital.
On January 7, 2026 at 18:00, the painting exhibition “Energie dobra / Energy of Goodness” opens at the “Western Terrace of Bratislava Castle” gallery. 60 works by Prokopіuk — abstract painting, collages and photography — constitute a project of gratitude for Slovakia’s and EU countries’ many years of support for Ukraine during the war.
The project’s author is Ukrainian artist Rostyslav Prokopіuk, Director of the Ukrainian Institute in Prague, psychologist and psychotherapist. He is the author of books on behaviour change and psychological wellbeing, poetry collections, and has twice appeared in the Czech Book of Records.

The exhibition is implemented by the Ukrainian Institute in Prague together with the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation.
Curator of the exhibition, outstanding Slovak art critic Ľuboslav Moza, describes the works: “I am pleased by the visual returns to collage. It was once very popular, appealing to the viewer and incredibly expressive. Prokopіuk’s painting is the author’s way of expressing what words cannot express. And photography often works wonders with night lighting.”
Exhibition period: January 7–29, 2026. Format: painting, photography, collages.
