Within Pylyp Orlyk Week, a series of open events in Kyiv are planned.

Among them — an excursion to the exhibition “Mazepa. Strategy of European Ukraine” (October 25 at 11:00) at Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, dedicated to “Ukraine’s Voice in Europe. Why Pylyp Orlyk’s Legacy Matters Today” (lecturer — Yaroslav Zatyliuk, Candidate of Historical Sciences).

Also at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, an open lecture “Pylyp Orlyk: A Hetman’s Fate, A Cossack Fortune” will be held by Olena Bachynska, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor.

The week will conclude with a public discussion (October 28 at 18:30) at the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation office — “Ukraine’s Voice in Europe. How Pylyp Orlyk’s Legacy Is Useful Today”, with Olena Bachynska, Oleksii Sokyrko, Maryna Trattner and moderation by Serhii Stukanov.

Details on participation and registration forms for the events will be published on the Foundation’s official pages shortly.
