‘Autumn Evening of Freedom: Meeting with the Creators of the Granite Revolution’

On October 17, 2025, the “Autumn Evening of Freedom” was held at the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation space — an event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Granite Revolution.

The event was organised by the National Memorial Complex of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred — Museum of the Revolution of Dignity, implemented in partnership with the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation.

The evening began with a podcast-meeting with participants in the Granite Revolution, who shared their memories, emotions and reflections on the significance of those events in modern Ukrainian history. Songs from the revolutionary era followed, performed by Ukrainian artists — a symbolic bridge between the generations who fought and continue to fight for freedom.

Visitors had the opportunity to view an exhibition of artefacts — photographs, documents and objects of the era, provided by the Museum of the Revolution of Dignity.

The “Autumn Evening of Freedom” became an example of the cultural diplomacy of memory — when historical events are comprehended not as museum exhibits, but as part of a living dialogue between generations. The event was a reminder that freedom is not an inheritance, but a choice that requires constant confirmation through action.
