Exhibition ‘Energie Dobra / Energy of Goodness’ by Ukrainian Artist Rostyslav Prokopіuk Successfully Concludes at Bratislava Castle
On January 29, 2026, the personal exhibition “Energie dobra / Energy of Goodness” by Ukrainian artist and Director of the Ukrainian Institute in Prague, Rostyslav Prokopіuk, concluded at the “Western Terrace of Bratislava Castle” gallery. This is the second exhibition by a Ukrainian artist in the history of this prestigious historical gallery in the Slovak capital (after Ivan Marchuk).

Over three weeks (January 7–29, 2026), the exhibition was visited by approximately one thousand people. The exhibition became not only an artistic event, but also a symbolic gesture of gratitude to Slovakia and EU countries for years of solidarity, humanitarian, political and cultural support for Ukraine during the war.

The exhibition featured 60 works: abstract painting, collages and artistic photography. The works were united by the theme of inner strength, humanity, transformation of light and the energy of goodness in times of hardship. Among the works — canvases ranging from 22×44 to 90×90 cm, including “Nekonečné modre”, “Nekonečné bílé”, “Spirála nekonečná”, “Údolí světla”, “Večer. Cesta domů”, “Andělé paměti”, “Ticho na vodě”, “Zelená cesta”, “Světlo na konci světa”, “Země kvete” and many others, as well as a series of photographs and collages.
The curator of the exhibition was distinguished Slovak art critic Ľuboslav Moza, who delivered a moving speech at the closing of the exhibition about the essence of art, the power of Prokopіuk’s collages and their ability to convey what cannot be expressed in words. He particularly emphasised: “Collages are a fairy tale where the true power of the author’s talent is revealed. It is another world, another psychology, which suddenly shows how a person perceives and feels.”

The project’s author, Rostyslav Prokopіuk, emphasised: “Five years of waiting for approval — and finally this exhibition became a reality. This is a special place and a special project. I thank the Slovak National Council for their trust and the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation for the partnership.”
The Chairman of the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation, Artem Mykolainchuk, added: “The energy of goodness is what now keeps the world from falling. It is precisely this energy that we strive to support, preserve and pass on.”
Exhibition partners: Pylyp Orlyk Foundation (Ukraine), National Council of the Slovak Republic, Ukrainian Institute in Prague.
