Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Pylyp Orlyk Foundation Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
In Kyiv, a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the public organisation “Pylyp Orlyk Foundation” has been signed.

The document enshrines the parties’ intention to join forces to strengthen Ukraine’s international standing, protect its national interests, and develop cooperation with foreign states and international organisations.
A specific area of cooperation is the coordination of joint efforts to advance the key priorities of Ukraine’s foreign policy. In particular, this includes work aimed at ending the hostile activities of the aggressor state at the UN and other international organisations, and maximally restricting its participation in international structures in cases where it violates their founding principles.
The Pylyp Orlyk Foundation, for its part, will continue the consistent work begun in 2022, based on relevant statements by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, aimed at non-recognition of the Russian Federation’s credentials at the UN and drawing international attention to the legitimacy of its membership in the organisation.

The Memorandum also provides for the implementation of joint projects, educational, expert and public events, advocacy visits and information campaigns, as well as the exchange of information and the development of strategic solutions in the field of international activity.
The signing of the Memorandum creates the basis for systematic interaction between the state and civil society sectors and will help strengthen Ukraine’s presence in the world.
As part of this direction, the Foundation, together with the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, will soon announce a nationwide competition of academic essays for students on the topic “Is It Possible to Expel Russia from the UN?”
Detailed information about the terms of participation will be posted on the official resources of the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation and the Institute of International Relations.
